AXIOM’s continued graduate recruitment drive boosts company’s expansion plans

2024 sees AXIOM kickstart their recruitment drive in the investment of local, young talent with the appointment of an additional graduate to join their existing Process Safety team.

Tom Robinson is the latest in a group of young graduates to join AXIOM as Graduate Process Safety Engineer following successful completion of a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. Using his skills developed from University, Tom brings his knowledge to support the team in process engineering design, P&ID development, design of over/under pressure protection systems, hazard studies and process risk assessments.

AXIOM continues to be ambitious with the company doubling its workforce in size post-Covid as it continues to deliver its award-winning capabilities to a range of industries including energy, chemical pharmaceutical, oil & gas, bulk storage and distribution and food. With the integration of Materials, Mechanical, Inspection Services, AXIOM is uniquely positioned to identify and mitigate key through-life risks across the entire asset life cycle.

Tom said, “I am delighted to be joining AXIOM at an exciting time and contributing to their expansion of Process Safety services. As a graduate, this is a great opportunity to develop my technical skills with a local company with ambitious growth plans.”

Amanda Garvey Kovac, Process Safety Group Manager added, “At AXIOM, we recognise the importance of investing in the personal development of all staff and in Tom’s case, his early career so we can support his successful and fulfilling career path. Understanding that a skills gap in engineering still remains an issue, AXIOM are keen to support young talented individuals who are the future of engineering.”

The further expansion of the Process Safety team is in response to client demand and part of the overall strategy of the business. With the continued building of long-term partnerships and strategic alliances, AXIOM’s growth is testament to its capability to deliver effective lifecycle integrity management systems to its clients.
